What I did was go through my address book and send an email from my new address to all the addresses I wanted to stay in contact with. It was just a short message explaining the change of address. That way they had my new address with my name attached to it if they ever needed it. Also, you will need to update your contact information in all your accounts that use email (PayPal, eBay, satellite, cable, etc.). I have discovered that it does very little good to “unsubscribe” to all those spam emails. They seem to ignore those requests. |
