I don't think we are the fringe anymore...13k land and county is in top 20 for corn production in country and we have a -65 basis on corn.. The flat rate payment didn't make a do anything miraculous for the cash flow. Would love to not have to get govt payments but inputs will need to get straightened out before that's feasible
The sweet spot runs into SD 50-75 miles— all the way to Winnipeg. Class 1 soils. |
