But criticizing other segments of society for doing the same does. Pots and kettles me thinks.
Unless the other segments of society are voting for candidates based off of how much subsidy they are promised and continuously lobbying for more subsidies.
Many of us are playing the game that the govt is putting on and actively calling for the game to end because it is straight up wrong. Even though we benefit greatly from the game.
The losers of the "game" are the bottom 90% of society, they also happen to be the people that keep voting/lobbying for "more".
