SW WI | I get the scam stuff almost everyday. Block the phone number a new number comes up. Mostly medicare scam.
I get unpaid bills in email and open attachment to see bill. Block and new email next day with new email address. ( Attachment no doubt a computer virus of some kind)
I like the one few years ago the rich man from Nigeria needed my bank account and routing number so he could hide money in it and I get 20 percent to keep.
Than there is the Microsoft call from India. They wanted to connect to my computer to clean it out. The guy kept saying there is someone in my computer stealing information. ( broken english) I kept telling him I looked and could see no one in computer. Went on for some time. Finally the person got what I was saying called me a name and hung up.
My information is in the dark web. Has been stolen so many times.
I use virtual credit card number or simulated. Online orders. If a one off after transaction I delete it. Certain card numbers for specific companies if the number is stolen can only be used with one company any other company it is declined.
I do this if the company stores my number. | |

These scammers never let up .
