RR Valley, ND; MN native | My thinking is this is a lug off some steel wheeled tractor or possibly implement (ground drive). Years ago found another like it by one of the outbuildings and not sure now what happened to it.
I had not considered it could be the point for a picker snoot, Good idea too. But, this is round and not oval on the base. There is a bevel on the base so it must have fitted to a narrow rim that had a curved "tire" and not flat like most of the steel wheeled tractors and so on I have seen.
The farm building site was established around 1912-1914. My grandparents bought it in 1939. | |
