| Avoid insolvable fiber to an extreme extent.
Supplement heavily (once out of the acute phase and healed up) with soluble fiber. Every morning. Throughout the day.
The number one thing is you do not want to get constipated. Number two is stress. Number three is stressing your bowels with insoluble fiber. Red meat can be hard on the digestion tract too if it's already compromised in any way.
Research Aloe Vera juice and its ability to heal. Research Indian herb Triphala. I've seen great success using both at staving off recurrence. Good luck.
Fasting I'll add too. First sign of a flare do a fast water only 72+ hrs. Long term consider intermittent fasting to allow your gut to rest more. Bone broth they say is good for healing gut and bowel too.
