My old one that I had and my buddy's that he still has will not fire when damp out. Same 4.3, same vintage. We have replaced caps and checked wires....nothing. It runs great but can't figure out where the moisture is coming in at or where exactly. He has a new truck also but uses this one for for every day jobs. So far no luck!
