Annual rainfall there for you? I suspect brown is a normal condition in your locale.
Mike above in MO gets more rain than us normally and he continues to get pounded by rain yet which is not normal. And we had 10" in first 3 weeks of April and virtually none since also not normal. So we went from green to brown in a big hurry. We get 34-35" per year on average.
