Spoken by someone who’s obviously never had seeds lying in dry dirt six months after they were planted.
No doubt, that is a totally different world than what we live in here. We normally do not even have a 6 month growing season. We have never had dry dirt that long. It is hard for me to even get my mind around that. I had a brother in law who lived in the Utah desert for a while and his life without rain was such a foreign concept for me to get my mind around. One of the things I love about AgTalk is that I get to hear about how different "here" is across the farming community. |
