| I doubt if there`s a board, I`d say it`s a basic sole proprietorship with a LLC. When I started there about 9 yrs ago they had a lazy dude that supposedly going to take over, the boss dumped him and run things (poorly IMO), Last year the boss hired a efficiency lady , I posted about her on here, here`s a link https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1204046&posts=...
She didn`t understand the type business, but did give some solid advice, which the boss cherry picked and ignored. (seems to me, if you`re gonna hire an expert, try to follow what they advise) . Shortly after he hired a "operations manager" who didn`t pan out, she came from the insurance industry and it wasn`t her cup of tea. The boss does stupid things like only trusts the warehouse manager with a $500 limit at Home Depot when he needs at least $2,000 in credit to buy materials for up keep, he`s been there 10 years and honest as day is long. Then he bought a newer gas pickup for salesman and both thought is was a diesel. Then he bought a pickup for a salesman in Wisconsin and he shelled out the rear end and that pickup sat in the warehouse collecting dust for a year while I was there I`ve been gone 6 months and it still sits there with a $650/mo payment... he`s financing it through a dealer... SMH!
I could go on, but a 5th grader could manage that place better, the boss`s problem is he has to micromanage everything and with all do respect anyone that buys a gas pickup and thinks it`s a diesel is a idiot and delegate most of these decisions.
But I heard he hired a CEO and was wondering if in any universe that a CEO for a $3 million company makes sense. Consensus seems that "it depends". I fear he is bleeding money and this is his latest Bandaid. | |
