Subject: RE: Church vs. Pizza Joint - Chapter 2

JBatmick..... two questions....

1) Was the decision based solely on zoning regulations?  or were other laws or regulations factors in the decision to overturn?

2) If the Pizza and Ice Cream Shop had built its own parking lot, would have that made a difference in the decision to allow it to sell beer, etc? I don't know if space was available to build a parking lot.  But, let's just say, hypothetically, there was space to build a parking lot, would have that made a difference in the decision-making?  In your opinion.

Just asking.

In your initial post, you mentioned about the 1000 feet distance being an issue.  Maybe the real reason that the permit was denied was the parking issue, more so than the 1000 feet distance issue.

I can see why a organization - or other business - being a bit upset, if they build a parking lot for their needs, and then another organization or business uses it, instead of building their own parking lot for their customers.
