Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I have been using an older HP LaserJet P3015 that I purchased on an auction for several years. It is hardwired to my Win 11 computer. The printer has worked well.
It has two paper trays. Tray 1 is behind a door and is used for regular paper or special paper such as envelopes etc. Tray 2 is larger and will hold an entire ream of regular paper. I have always just put paper in Tray 2. The printer apparently WAS set to default to Tray 2 which worked fine.
A while back something changed and the printer now defaults to Tray 1 which is usually empty. I can either put paper in Tray 1 and it prints fine or use the printer menu to temporarily changed to Tray 2. That works fine also.
However, the printer returns back to Tray 1 after the print job has been completed. I cannot seem to find a way to get the printer to default to Tray 2. It is certainly not the end of the world since I can just keep paper in Tray 1 and not use Tray 2 or change to Tray 2 for each print job.
Seem like it should be easy to change the default but doing various searches has not resulted in techniques that are successful. I'm certain it is simple. Any ideas?
