I agree, but how does that apply to the govt giving Billions in utility scale solar subsidies to billionaires and millionaires?
The guys not getting solar subsidies (directly or indirectly) have to compete against those $'s as well.
Or is this one of those situations where your subsidy (if you have ground leased to a solar install this includes you) is better than someone else's subsidy?
For the record, I'm for ending ALL subsidies (actual subsidies & tax credits, not talking about expenses or depreciation on tax filings), farm program (including CRP), carbon, wind, solar, etc, end them all.
The only somewhat justifiable subsidies are to the poor (the actual poor that CAN'T take care of themselves, not the lazy) and I'm of the opinion that the church should take care of the poor through charity via offering and tithes, not the govt through coercion.
But the left has always wanted the govt to replace the church so here we are.
