What if it didn't cost more? Using my numbers from N on corn ground this year. Total cost of N applied $561.80/ha 1 bag of corn seed plants 1 ha I would be ahead if the seed allowed N to be fixed instead of buying it if cost of bag was $500 more AND it would be better for the environment instead of all the emissions from manufacturing and transporting the N
