Southeast Colorado | The system was set up long before I was born. It just took me years to understand it.
But I've bought a lot of land and equipment and pay huge energy bills. So I've bought into an industry where the prices have been elevated due to our govt financial support system. Some might call it charity. I'm not really sure what it is..........but it keeps folks here in a pretty tough economic place.
You'll have a hard time finding anyone posting here that's more honest than myself. Warts and all.
And I've been on record here as being an advocate for phasing out govt farm subsidies since I signed up in 2006.
