Glasgow, Ky		Farmed full time from 1976-1986. Got off farm job in 1986-2006 while continuing to farm. Took early retirement from off farm job in 2006 and full time farmed while phasing out last 3 years. Now have everything rented out.

Far as off farm job, worked for chemical manufacturing company. Worked in production for brief time, then moved to salary job in various capacities through the years. That job was a blessing as it allowed me to keep farming while digging out of the deep financial hole from the early 80’s. Wound up liking the off farm work just as much as farming, which I totally did not expect to do. Our preconceived notions about a job are not always true until we experience them firsthand.
