I have an old Gamo .177 spring piston air rifle that is rated at 1,000 fps that will kill rabbits at 100’ nicely as long as you hit them in the head. For your situation you would probably be happier with a PCP (pre charged pneumatic) air rifle in .22 caliber. It would be quieter with more power.
