Southeast Colorado | You're numbers are correct. It just seems to blow like a sumbitch here. The town that's our county seat sits 30 miles west of me. They put up their own 1.5 mw turbine 25 years ago. I've seen the actual output. When it's not broken down..........which happens at times, it runs at +50% efficiency.
And no.............I'm still not in favor of wind generation (or any green energy) without that industry figuring out how to back itself up. I'm pretty consistent on how I explain this deal.
With that said...........the govt is still throwing money at it...........regardless of my (or your) opinion. Hopefully we'll come to our senses before it's too late. | |
