How do you think medical science starts? We used to apply leaches and let out blood. If it shows promise, good studies will be done because there is money in it. If nothing else the beef industry will fund it. I agree it doesn't sound obvious, but a moldy cantaloupe wasn't an obvious source of an antibiotic either. It's important to observe what actually happens.


Absolutely spot on. That being said I have had alpha gal for at least two years, probably longer. I have seen way to much conflicting results from acupuncture, so I have not taken the plunge just yet. There is good evidence that as long as you don’t get bitten by a tick with the disease again, there is a reasonable possibility of it going away after a few years.
