I quit dairy when I got elected local road superintendent in 2016. I’m 70 now but in better shape than I was. I was pretty well crippled up back then but after multiple joints replaced or fused I get around pretty well.
Probably be dead if I hadn’t made the move.
This job has its days and I especially hate winters. I thought I was finished fighting the weather… little did I know there but the pay and insurance are good. Even thinking about running again next year.
