The funds are very long. End of the month profit taking. No reason to continue the long position. Planting and weather are a non issue.
"Profit taking" unlikely. Maybe loss taking is a better way to say it as they were adding longs all the way up. Weather maybe doesn't have as much to do with it as wheat is also down and everyone seems to think the wheat crop was already toasted. Simply peace deal was announced, oil went down big because the strait is to be reopened. Grains are down in sympathy. |
