The math works out but I won't risk it.
If I check the barrel infrequently to see when we need diesel then call around for prices before getting it delivered, I guarantee sooner or later it will get forgotten and risk running out. The price savings isnt worth the risk of cows not getting fed on time because the diesel barrel ran out. This has been my experience.
