Doesn't always need to be logical or reasonable to those who haven't experienced it. When my friend can go from needing an Epipen on a daily or near-daily basis, from having allergic reactions to merely the odor of meat cooking, to being able to eat any form of protein she wants, it's time to accept that the treatment simply works for most people.
