Wisconsin | Sounds about what I'd expect, and Roadranger's post below. The deputies generally know, or can find out quickly about the folks that commonly don't have their "stuff" together. I generally pick up hitchhikers, that's a socially acceptable request in my opinion, that you're free to ignore. I'd be very reluctant to get out of bed and then drive this person anywhere, besides straight to the sheriffs dept. Running off on your bike at night, then getting tired and scamming someone out of a good night's sleep is not socially or legally acceptable in my opinion. | |
