I had a friend that liked to ride motorcycles fast. I finally rode with his crew one time. They were doing 80 on the roads in the southern Ohio hills. I stayed with them for about an hour and had enough of it. I slowed down and finally made it to the restaurant we had decided to try earlier in the day. He said,"You ain't riding unless your riding fast." I said," That isn't enjoyable at all and it's going to cost one of you greatly, if you don't stop it." A few weeks later. I stopped hearing from him. A couple years later, I was told by a mutual friend Eric quit contacting me, because he didn't want to hear,"I told you so". Apparently, he was riding alone near Dayton, where he lived, and lost it on a curve going too fast. He spent over a year with his leg in an air cast. 30 years later and I still haven't heard from him.
