My MIL has a neighbor across from her house that had someone scrape the soil off his yard and put in better soil. He fertilizes the yard 4 times a year. She said he has spent a lot of money rejuvenating his yard. It is a Pullman clay loam soil. There are literally thousand of acres of this soil that is used both in dryland and irrigated farms in the area.
