This is why the lawns should be the first thing to go in the Colorado basin closely followed by the golf courses and athletic fields during the drought!
Drinking water, sanitation and agriculture should only be cut after the above has been taken to zero.
I love the west and would love to live and farm/ranch there…but I do enjoy the normally plentiful water of points further east
