I think the economic issues now that primarily affect the lower tier can be explained by all the manufacturing leaving for the 3rd world.I look back to the dozens of decent jobs available for the avg joe 45 years ago.All those small plants closed .Luckily here I live in a county with still great jobs but very few manufacturing...well except fed funded battleship plant.
This is not sustainable.
