The advocates claim that millions of white collar jobs will simply vanish into the ether. We have Musk claiming we will get UBI (Universal basic income) and will be happy that we no longer have to work for the man. Guess what Musk how about you cut us all a check not the US treasury after you wipe out millions of jobs just so you can have a couple trillion more.
Who gets to decide what is a Basic income anyway? I think I deserve the same level of spending that Jeff Bezo's enjoys. Lets make that the basic income and while we are at destroying everything lets pass a law that limits Amazon's profits to just 1000X the median full time salary of their workers and the CEO/Owner can only have income of 100X of the median full time salary and that includes the dividends that Amazon would payout IE He would have to donate 100% of the dividends to the universal fund that we all will drink from sort of like what Alaska did with its oil Royalties for the Citizens of Alaska .
