  That is generally laissez faire capitalism, which mean the .gov generally lets the economy do its thing.  It doesn't mean totally free and untrammeled capitalism.  We can get rid of a bunch of regulations and rules that create barriers to entry while also taking some general policy stances on things that are overall bad for America as a whole.



The end result of pure capitalism always ends with a monopoly. The problem is that situation is never recognized until it’s too late. The invisible hand sounds good in theory but never works in real life
