I'd say controversial! Your leaving wind speed as a constant but reality is that wind moves faster passing through the building when the it is collected by a large opening and exits through a smaller opening.

My issue with mono slopes is wind driven rain. My dad's rule of thumb was 1/3 to 1/2 of the opening height is the amount of floor distance rain will enter.
