Central IL | Simple answer is yes push the power east to the population center. Another way of looking at the renewable thing is wind blowing/sun shining in Iowa but not in Indiana or Ohio so it gets exported east and in reverse at times. It is a network for a reason.
Its the shuttering of those coal plants thats concerning. So hot days with no wind and or cloud cover there is high potential for brown/blackouts. We might not be quite there but I really feel thats where were headed. | |
