Suver, Oregon | I have been asked to give a report on grass seed production from different areas.
I am curious how the Missouri K-31 seed crop is looking? Any talk on pricing.
Our Oregon K-31 crop looks fair to good, but we have been dry and it will need a good rain soon to fill seed heads.
There was extensive vole damage in some fields last fall, some of those fields have not recovered well.
Currently we are getting $.80/lb for seed that is cleaned and in the bag. There have been a few sales above that as well.
