Malta, Illinois | What I don't understand is why are there still so many solar farms being built? I thought the government incentives or subsidies largely went away after Trump was elected in 2024. I also have to question how many data centers are currently up and running in Illinois? I really have no idea but it surely can't be that many. I think there are a lot of them in the development stage or under construction but are there really very many of them currently using electricity? Electricity shortages are going to be a real problem moving forward. | |
