We raise about 500 dairy steers feeder to finish. Feeder calf prices have finally reached a point where it isn’t profitable anymore and I am hearing this quite a bit now here in central MN. Just paid $2400 for 6 weight calves. No money to be made anymore.
Ag in general, but especially anything regarding livestock, there is always someone willing to work for free.
Beef is finally too high!!!
