Yes sir , couldn’t agree more , I’ve put it here before, any old codger like myself And the wife that have ever thought about a trip to Normandy, I couldn’t recommend that any more either , the cemeteries there and standing on those beaches looking up the hill where they landed on that morning , something I’ll never forget .
It's an incredible and eerie feeling. Did you go into the German gun bunkers? On your next trip, go to Bastogne Belgium. You may know, but read up on the 101st and Patton (and the nazi's for that matter), first. Just incredible. My uncle got his silver star in the Ardennes. |
