The countries in the mideast have been fighting for 4000 years. You got to kidding yourself if anyone thinks they are able to bring peace to that area. Very similar to hornets nest. Best to stay away from it. It pays to pay attention to history.
During the first 3900 years of that period, those countries didn't have the ability to bring warfare much beyond the edge of their borders.
If you haven't been paying attention during the last century...........things have changed a bit. I still believe that's why we, and the Western powers placed Israel right where we did, and why we greatly support them. They are an extension of us..........and are tasked with tamping radical Islam down. Or at the very least keeping the fight over there.
So if you think we can just stay away from it and all will be fine with world peace being blessed on us all..........I beg to differ. |
