The whole thing is in uncharted waters. The real cure is get packer capacity equal to feedlot capacity. Next is get feeder price low enough to get heifer replacement affordable. Right now the whole thing will continue until someone in the process cries uncle. Having said that the Greeley strike may be the event that starts the this process
That won't work like you think.
Ask a grain farmer here why they wont get into cows. Either they are too expensive or not worth having. No in-between. |
