It’s called mutually assured destruction. Nobodies going to launch a nuclear attack on the United States. Of all the things to worry about, a nuclear attack is pretty far down the list. If anything, us attacking Iran has only furthered the resolve for some of these countries to get nuclear weapons. I guarantee we wouldn’t have attacked Iran and Russia Ukraine if Iran and Ukraine had nuclear weapons.
