As for Normandy never happening because we didn't spend enough money? You have to be kidding right. Do you not know world history at all? In 1939 We weren't even in the top five military spending countries. If there's an emergency, we can do whatever we want. We don't have to have the most expensive military in the world every single day of the year to be a deterrent.
