In 2020, the SPR was about 50 million barrels from being full. So to fully fill it, even at $40 a barrel, would have been around 2 Billion. So it does, in fact, look like another slush fund setup.
But I didn't remember that. Probably because of all the other noise at the time. Thank for the walk down memory lane.
You conveniently forget a lot.
Even stuff that it takes less than 10 seconds to fact check before stating it “never happened”.
It makes you look like a fool.
BTW, oil was $24/barrel when the Democrats blocked filling the SPR. Also very easy to fact check.
