It was than like now, if Trump had a good idea, Dems would never approve it because it was his idea. Trump did propose to fill reserve to help the oil industry and fact that oil was so cheap. Was kind of a win-win. We paid over 4$ a gallon for gas for quite awhile during Biden presidency. So yes Biden took good care of oil people.
