Farmland was sold out because they were bankrupt. Which was a direct result of being in a lot of things they had no business being in.
Yes, aggressive acquisitions in things they maybe shouldn’t have been involved in, as well as a disastrous fertilizer division caused the bankruptcy status, and then they sold a generally good/highly profitable food division.
