They want to buy real estate in the US because they do not want to be holding the USD which is losing value similarly to a rock dropped off of a ship in the ocean.
Owning a modern hog farm in China could be very lucrative, the problem is their govt is corrupt as the day is long. And very opposed to foreign ownership. Its been tried by Americans.
