I don`t like foreigners buying farmland in US, however can`t figure why they would want to for the same reason that I would be afraid to buy land in their countries. Like here, a law could be passed forcing them to liquidate their holdings "in the next 30 days" or taxes could be raised. I`d have no desire to own land overseas where you wouldn`t have a say in the political policy... or maybe they do?
