Very southern Mn | The “ liberal” Republicans will just get replaced with “liberal” democrats because everyone wants more government money. So because everyone, including farmers, want bailouts and free rides, honest politician that believes in only spending what you take in, has no chance. We are all like spoiled kids, complain, complain and do the same thing. No matter what government program there is, most create dependency and than outrage when they are cut. If all farm programs and insurance and ethanol subsidies were cut tomorrow, how many would survive? Even with no debt?
John is very right, we will slide to socialism and than find out that is doesn’t work either, as eventually you run out of other people’s money.
Biblical prophecy about end times, some interpret as 1 world government, because whole world so broke and desperate, something that looked impossible even 20 years ago, seems very possible in not so distant future.
Lotts lake friends sound like a group I would like to stay away from. Wonder when you boiled down all the talk, how much would be left? Sounds like a bunch of farmers when corn is 7$ Or house buyers and flippers in 2007. Dad always said if you could sell them for what they think they are worth and buy them for what they are really worth, than indeed you would be a rich man.
