The President has also said that he opposes an increase in home construction because as more homes become available, that will cause the market for existing houses to drop off from the current high prices. He said that he doesn't want home prices to drop because then home owners will be unhappy. I guess he's always looking out for his billionaire buddies that have been buying up a lot of houses and turning them into rental property.
You do realize he backed a bill banning investment company ownership of single family homes, one that has made it half ways through congress? |
