Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Shouldn't be a problem. The KZ valve likely needs a constant 12V power, Constant ground and a pair of wires to control the position of the valve. The control pair would be consistent with the control pair for a simple butterfly valve in a liquid spray system.
One suggestion though. A general recommendation is some straight unrestricted pipe both on the Inlet and Outlet sides of the flow meter. The idea is that then the flow both In and Out doesn't have any swirling effect on the flow meter. A general rule is 10 x the diameter. So for a 1" flow meter, the distance would be 10".
This is not necessarily a "hard and fast" rule as we violated it quite often when setting up liquid spray systems due to space limitations. With an NH3 system this generally wasn't a problem since the distances exceeded the rule anyway. |
