My thoughts.......
First I don't drink for scientific reasons
Also I don't go to any church.

The believers in that church should not determine what others do outside their church.
Should the dairy farm next door stop me from having chickens just because he doesn't believe in people having birds?

If they did not want the restaurant to serve alcohol then they should have bought it and ran it the way they want.
Since they don't own it then they don't have any say in what is served there

I have neighbours who won't work on Sundays because they believe one of the gods does not allow it .  
They don't stop me from working when the weather is nice on Sunday and I don't force them to work on Sunday even when there is rain coming on Monday.

Other religionists drink so why don't they persuade those others to follow their beliefs and leave those who don't alone to do as they wish.
