RR Valley, ND; MN native | Is the pizza place open on Sunday mornings at the same time the church is having service?
As others say, 1000ft is a pretty big keep out zone. Seems like they have less distances for folks on some offender list can live relative to a school.
I was just checking satellite map of my hometown (about pop 250) and the distance from the bar/grill to the nearest church is about 400' as the crow flies. But, that place is not open Sunday mornings either.
All that said, the church was there first and the restaurant guy should have checked ordinances before doing anything. Should make for a interesting debate at the city council meeting!!! | |
